An open seashore on a hot afternoon, the water Sol & Salt cuts for
Swim & resort, made in one workroom

Cut for long swims, not for one season.

A small collection that survives chlorine, salt and a whole summer — with an assistant that knows every measurement, fabric weight and return window, live on the web today and shown here exactly as it will read inside a Messenger thread and an Instagram DM.

The whole range, twelve pieces deep

Two knits and one linen, nothing else. Sol answers from exactly this list — the same codes, prices, fabrics and size runs its MCP server serves — never a guess at what a swim label "probably" stocks.

Measurements, not vibes

Nobody should have to order two sizes

Give Sol a bust, waist or hip measurement and it names the size from this chart plus the fit note for that exact piece — a swim knit and a linen shirt do not round the same way.

How to measure

  • BustOver bare skin, at the fullest point, tape snug but not pulled.
  • WaistThe narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
  • HipThe fullest part, feet together.
  • Between sizesOn a swim knit take the larger; it relaxes in water. On linen take the smaller.

Camber Bay, since 2018

It started because nothing survived a season

Two open-water swimmers kept wearing suits out in a single summer — bagged at the seat, faded at the straps, gone by September. So they went looking for a knit that would not: a 210 gsm regenerated nylon with enough elastane to hold its shape through chlorine, salt and sun cream, knitted by a family mill and cut in one small workroom.

Every colourway soaks for ninety hours in chlorinated water before it is signed off. Anything that shifts goes back to the mill. That is the whole quality process, and it is why the range is twelve pieces and not two hundred.

  • Knits — regenerated nylon, spun from reclaimed fishing net and fabric waste
  • Linen — washed European flax, 165 gsm, softer every wash
  • Repairs — a seam that fails inside 12 months is fixed or replaced

How it is made

Small runs, mended not replaced

Pieces are cut in runs of a few hundred, not tens of thousands, so a fit note from a customer in March changes the pattern by June. Nothing is made to be thrown away after a season: send a failed seam back inside twelve months and it comes home mended, or replaced if it cannot be.

Offcuts go to the same mill that knits the nylon. Packaging is paper, printed with the return instructions, because a second bag should never be needed to send something back.

Sending something back

Ask Sol to start a return and a card opens right in the chat — order number, which piece, why — one button, no email thread. The same card is on this page if you would rather use it here.

Two inboxes, one assistant

See both threads before either handle exists

Sol & Salt's Meta accounts are still being connected. What is below is not a mock-up and not a recording: it is the exact live assistant from this page, dressed the way the conversation will read in each inbox. Switch the channel and the same live thread moves across.

Preview — real assistant, no live Page yet

This IS Sol: the same brain, the same twelve pieces, the same size chart and the same returns desk as the bubble in the corner. Only the wrapper changes once the Page and the professional account are connected. Ask it for a size, or start a return right in the thread.

Neither handle exists yet, so the buttons below scroll here instead of opening an app. The moment the channel lane sets a Page id or a username, they become real links — no rebuild of this page.

What changes when the accounts are connected

The same brain, knowledge and tools as above — reached the way Meta's platform actually delivers a message.

1

Someone messages first

A "Send message" button on the Page, a story reply, or a DM on a post. The customer always opens the conversation — a business cannot start one out of nowhere on either surface.

2

One webhook, two inboxes

Messenger and Instagram messages arrive on the same Meta webhook, are normalised into the same conversation shape as this web chat, and Sol answers from the same collection, size chart and returns policy.

3

The 24-hour window

Sol can reply freely for 24 hours after the last customer message; after that only an approved message tag reopens the thread. Standard Meta messaging rules, identical on both channels.

Under the hood

Everything above, and why it works

Nine things this page actually does, each with the exact doc for adding the same thing to your own site.

The chat, from one script tag

The bubble in the corner — and the thread inside both phones above — is the live product on a workspace of its own. One line of HTML put it there.

Grounded in Sol & Salt's own words

The collection, the size chart and the returns policy above were published to the workspace as text. Answers quote them; anything outside them gets an honest "I don't know".

It can work the page

This site publishes its own actions — read the collection, search it, size a piece, quote the policy, open the return card. Ask for one and watch it happen without a form to hunt for.

Try: "Show me everything in Coral under $70"

It reaches the systems behind the page

Sol & Salt runs a small MCP server of its own, connected to the workspace. The collection, the size logic and the order book come from there over HTTPS — the same answer whether or not this tab is open.

How to add this to your site →

It knows who's asking

Sign in as the demo customer below and Sol can pull up that customer's own orders, and cancel one that has not shipped — for her and nobody else.

Try (signed in): "Where is my order?"
How to add this to your site →

It asks with a card, not a paragraph

A return needs three things. Instead of asking for them one at a time, Sol opens a card inside the message — order number, piece, reason — and submits it in one tap.

Try: "The one-piece is too small"
How to add this to your site →

A person can take over

Ask for a person and the thread lands in the team inbox mid-conversation — the same hand-off works in a Messenger or Instagram thread once they are connected, no restart, no ticket number.

Try: "Can I talk to someone about a wholesale order?"
How to add this to your site →

Readable without a browser

An agent that never renders this page can still work with it: a plain-text brief, a tool manifest, a machine-readable catalogue of the page's own actions.

The six layers, checked →

Honest about what isn't live yet

The two threads above are labelled for exactly what they are — a real assistant in a faithful wrapper, with no invented Page and no invented handle. Nothing here claims a channel that does not exist.

Sign in and Sol already has your orders

A throwaway demo customer is provided — no password, no real person.

Signed out — Sol only sees what any visitor can see.

Demo customer: Amara Okafor, amara@example.com — three orders, including SS-31082 (delivered, still inside its return window) and SS-31460 (not dispatched yet, so it can still be cancelled). A throwaway public demo identity, not a real person.

From the first season

What people say after a summer in it

"Third season in the same Tidal and it still holds its shape. I asked for a size in the DMs and got the actual measurements back, not a shrug."

Asked in the DMs, most days

The five that come up first

How long do I have to send something back?
Thirty days from delivery, unworn, tags on, hygiene liner in place. Free label inside the United States; $9 comes off the refund elsewhere.
I'm between two sizes — which one?
On a swim knit take the larger, because the knit relaxes in water; on linen take the smaller. Give Sol your measurements and it will name the size instead of guessing.
Will the colour survive a chlorinated pool?
Every colourway soaks ninety hours in chlorinated water before it is signed off. Rinse cold after a swim and dry flat in the shade and it will outlast the season.
Can I cancel an order I just placed?
Yes, while it is still being picked. Once it has left the workroom it has to come back as a return instead — Sol can tell you which state an order is in.
Do you do wholesale or team orders?
For a club or a shop, ask for a person in the chat and someone from the workroom picks the same conversation up.
A person, if you would rather
